Women and men hearing wedding bells flocked to Charleston Wedding Expo over the weekend with hopes of getting ideas for the big day. The Charleston Civic Center Grand Hall was turned into a one-stop shop of sorts Sunday afternoon as vendors from all over the region set up booths. Several bridal boutiques also participated in a fashion show. English Rose Bridal Wear, which recently moved from its shop in Kanawha City to the Shops at Trace Fork, participated in the fashion show. Jenny Hudson, the store's manager, said the store specializes in fashions from designers such as Maggie Sottero and offers handmade jewelry and accessories and custom veils direct from England. Hudson said several women picked out gowns from the designers' portfolios at their booth and scheduled times to try them on. She said their store does well because they offer dresses from several designers that other boutiques don't. "Maggie Sottero is pretty popular and, we've carried her gowns for a long time," Hudson said.

Where Can I Find A Red Wedding Dress?!?

My wedding colors are black and red. I want a red wedding dress (with an accent like a black ribbon around the waist, etc.), but all I can seem to find white dresses with red accents! I would not white! I want all red! I want something simple and modern ... no beads or 10 feet long trains. Anyone know of any good sites to check or good places to go?
